Mobile Mechanic for specialist plant hire and transportation equipment and vehicles.
- £40-50k (depending on experience) + overtime + holiday + private medical insurance
- Monday to Friday with optional weekend overtime available
- Home based with new mobile workshop provided (LWB, high top van)
You will have a strong background in plant repair and maintenance as you will be required to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical problems across a large range of specialist waste handling plant, loading shovels, high-rise material handlers, telehandlers, LCVs and HGVs.
Your experience will give you the knowledge and the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex issues quickly and accurately.
Based from home, you'll cover a large area across the South East and into London. The main workshop is in Cranleigh, so you'll need to be based within a reasonable distance, due to regular visits.

**** Responsibilities of the Mobile Mechanic ****
- Diagnose & repair mechanical problems on diesel powered plant and vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing.
- Complete weld repairs.
- Test parts and systems to ensure they are working properly.
- Use diagnostic tools.
- Explain mechanical problems & solutions to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Keep records of work completed.

- Relevant experience as mobile mechanic
- Located within a reasonable distance of Cranleigh
- UK driving licence
- Experience driving a long wheel base, high top van
- Verifiable references
- Maximum of 6 minor penalty points
